About Hope for Suffolk CSA/Farm Share
Hope for Suffolk CSA/Farm Share Hope for Suffolk is a capacity building program for youth. We invest in the lives of our teenage interns through our farm work program and personal development workshops. We believe that when people experience the dignity of work and are provided with resources for success, our community becomes stronger and more beautiful. Each year we hire dozens of high school students as paid interns for 8 months. They are each assigned rows of crops for which they are responsible from seed to sale. We give them loads of training, support, feedback and encouragement. But at the end of the day - they grew these crops!
