Acorn Hill Farms Produce, LLC We are excited to offer our love of fresh fruits and vegetables to our customers through community supported agriculture (CSA). We supply many of the fresh fruits and vegetables as well as partner with other local farmers to offer an outlet for their harvest. Local chefs as well as other CSA farm bag providers also purchase fresh local produce from Acorn Hill Farms Produce weekly to offer fresh items to their customers or subscribers. The Farm Boxes are offered May - October. A typical box will generally feed a family of four, depending on individual eating habits. Each box will contain anywhere from 7-9 various fruits and vegetables. Vegetables that we will be offering are green beans; crowder peas; beets; cucumbers; green, and red cabbages; sweet potatoes; red and white potatoes; tomatoes; zucchini; squash; green and red bell peppers; hot peppers; watermelons; honeydews; cantelopes, egg plant; okra; butterbeans; grapes; peaches; blueberries; figs; white and red sweet onions and sweet corn. The boxes will be more plentiful June-August than in early Spring simply because this is when our crops are in abundance. To accomplish this we decided to use the Suffolk Farmer's Market as our venue. My family has been in the produce business since the 1950's. We have proudly served many repeat customers over the past fifty years.
