About Mountain Harvest Organics
Mountain Harvest Organics We are located in the Spring Creek community of Madison County in Western North Carolina. The farm has been in production for over 150 years and is nestled in a valley shadowed by beautiful Bluff Mountain over which the Appalachian Trail passes. We offer families a weekly subscription of in season produce through our CSA and sell at local tailgate markets. We currently have 5 acres under cultivation and offer 3 internships/apprenticeships each season. In addition, we are harvesting our trees from our forest, and building a timber frame cabin for offering farm vacations. We currently have 6 greenhouses for both season extension and for summer production of those heat loving crops such as tomatoes and peppers.
