About Mejia Romero Farm
Mejia Romero Farm is a new farm in Skagit County, family owned and family operated. Our farm dream became a reality in 2023 and using our 15 years of experience growing food, we have been able to expand our acreage in 2024. Our dream to start a farm came from growing up in a rural town in Mexico with a high rate of poverty which led to food insecurity. It is our mission to provide food security in the community which is reflected through our donations to local food banks and families in need. If you know of anyone in the community struggling with food access, feel free to reach out! The practices we use come from our family heritage in Mexico, where we grow everything using organic practices. We have worked with the Viva Farms incubator program to pair our Mixtex Indigenous practices of growing with modern organic practices used today to grow the quality food we offer to our community. Our fresh produce is diverse and offers many culturally relevant foods as well. Our kids have loved to grow their foods, and the health we offer our own kids is the same quality we offer everyone who has supported us by getting their produce from Mejia Romero Farm.
