About Skippers Creek Vineyard
Skippers Creek Vineyard is located on property owned by Debbie’s family for over 75 years. Growing up, dairy and tobacco farming filled her day with many hours of hard work. Today, sitting about 300 feet above sea level, the pastures thrive with five acres of viniferous vines overlooking the meadow and pond below. Our first planting happened in 2009 with additional plantings in 2010 and 2012, expanding the different grape varieties. We have always had a love for wine and can now see the fruits of our labor. The hard work remains hard but rewarding. The vines are flourishing and the wine is aging.
