About Poplar Ridge Farms
To the extent possible, we use organic methods to produce vegetables. We sell what we grow on the farm and offer a mixed assortment of seasonal vegetables focusing on quality salad mixes, carrots, tomatoes, and baby root vegetables. At Poplar Ridge Farms, we want to share our passion for exceptional food with you! The farm is owned by Brian and Coleen Jones, and we have been growing our own food for as long as we can remember. We have been farming in the Shenandoah Valley since 2004 and enjoy producing a diverse mix of vegetables, livestock, and grain. In 2018 we expanded our home garden into a market garden and began a new chapter in feeding our community. Our growing season essentially runs year-round thanks to our covered growing space and online store, although there is a definite seasonality to the workflow. Team members will be expected to work closely with the farm managers to carry out the many varied tasks encountered in the market farm.
