About Toll Gate Farm and Vineyard
Toll Gate Farm is a historic property dating back to the 1700s. At some point the cabins on the property actually served as a “toll gate” hence the name. We purchased this beautiful property in 2020 after the owners had already planted about 6 acres of vines and had many years of selling grapes to local wineries under their belts. Other than opening up bottles of wine, we knew nothing about this industry, but with the help of so many Virginians with kind hearts and generous spirits, we are learning and making good local wines! We are so excited for you to try our products and also to come and visit the vineyard.
