About Foggy Ridge Cider
Foggy Ridge Cider grows heirloom cider apples for sale to commercial and amateur cidermakers. Foggy Ridge's three orchards are located at 3,000 feet elevation in southwestern Virginia and feature cider-specific apples like Hewe's Crab, Harrison, Grimes Golden, Tremlett's Bitter, Ashmead's Kernel and Smith Cider. From 2004 to 2018, apples from this orchard were used to craft hard cider for the Foggy Ridge Cider brand. Since 2019, we have sold apples from our orchards to other cidermakers, mostly in the southeast.
