About Weatherbury Farm
Certified Organic Flours and Milled Products; Grass-Fed Beef and Lamb. Weatherbury Farm grows certified organic grains and mills them into flour. From putting the seed in the ground to putting the flour in the bag everything is done at this sustainable family owned farm in southwestern Pennsylvania. The flours, ground slowly and at a low temperature on a stone mill, retain the grain's vitamins, minerals, oils and fiber giving the flours their delicious unique flavors. Once a month on farm flour pickups are held on the farm, with orders due 10 days before as the flours are freshly ground. Information on pickups and an email newsletter reminder can be found on the farm's website. Weatherbury Farm has sold grass fed/ grass finished beef and lamb directly to the consumer since 2007. No pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, artificial steroids or growth hormones are used. Weatherbury's cattle graze on certified organic grass, eat certified organic hay during non-grazing times and are bedded on certified organic straw. Weatherbury's chickens free range on the farm and eat certified organic raised on the farm. Their certified organic eggs are available for purchase at the monthly farmpickup.
