Dennis Landes and Kenneth Bowman partner to buy the farm from Orville Bowman so he could permanently move to California. Bowman & Landes Turkeys is officially founded in 1948. Carl Bowman (son of Kenneth Bowman) and Stan Landes (son of Dennis Landes) joined Bowman & Landes as second generation owners. Added 7,200 square feet to our existing turkey harvest plant for a retail store and further processing area. The 1970's included the addition of boneless turkey roasts, ground turkey and turkeys burgers as new products. Drew Bowman (son of Carl Bowman) and Dan Landes (son of Stan Landes) become a third generation owner of Bowman and Landes Turkeys. 2021 Jon Hamber (son of Anita Bowman Hamber) becomes a third generation owner of Bowman and Landes Turkeys.
