About Fosters Farm Market
Fosters Farms was named after the town of Fosters. The farm is owned and operated by Mark Altemeier and his family. Since its creation in 2006 Fosters Farms has grown quickly, now raising produce and selling mulch and firewood products. We wanted to have a local farm market for the community to enjoy fresh, local produce. We have expanded by purchasing a small farm in Deerfield, on which we grow fresh produce. All produce is either grown on our farms or, in support of local farmers, on nearby farms; therefore all produce is freshly picked. We're currently growing several different fruit and vegetable varieties to sell at our market. All of our produce is grown in chemical-free, all natural fertilizer in an effort to stay organic.
