About Cole's Farm NC Beekeeping
Cole’s Farm is a Marine-owned, North Carolina–based apiary committed to responsible beekeeping, agricultural stewardship, and the production of high-quality, award-winning honey. Rooted in both tradition and science-based management, Cole’s Farm focuses on honeybee health, sustainable practices, and education within the beekeeping and agricultural communities. Owner and operator Jeff Crane is a certified journeyman beekeeper in the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association’s Master Beekeeping Program and a Certified Honey Producer, reflecting a commitment to both technical proficiency and product integrity. Cole’s Farm honey has earned first-place awards at the Onslow County Fair in consecutive years, as well as multiple awards at the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association Spring Meeting — including first-place recognition for Electronic Media in 2026, second-place for Portrait Photography in 2026, and third-place for Black & White Photography in 2026 — demonstrating consistency in quality and craftsmanship. Beyond the apiary, Cole’s Farm is actively engaged in service and leadership at the county and state levels. Jeff has held leadership roles within the Onslow County Beekeepers Association, the North Carolina Farm Bureau, and the Farmer Veteran Coalition, contributing to policy development, beekeeper education, and veteran agricultural mentorship. Cole’s Farm believes strong agriculture depends on informed producers, healthy pollinators, and community involvement — values that guide every hive inspection, harvest, and educational effort.
