About Windcrest Farm
Windcrest Farm Windcrest Farm is a USDA Certified Organic farm and greenhouse located in Monroe, NC. Windcrest supplies farmers and home gardeners with heirloom vegetable, flower, herb and fruit plants as well as growing fresh produce, herbs and fruit for families and markets. Organic soil supplements and pest management products are also available. The farm was established in 1978 and has operated commercially for 18 years. Our Mission - "We feed the soil, that feeds the plant, that feeds you!" Our fresh, locally grown products includes seasonal fruits and vegetables, herbal teas, baby ginger, turmeric, and fresh and dried medicinal and culinary herbs. We love to grow the unusual! Our two greenhouses, three high tunnels and garden houses, in addition to field-grown crops, help us provide product year-round. Our commitment to sustainable, local and certified organic food production results in nutrient-dense products while building our soil and encouraging rich biodiversity.
