Scheffler Farm LLC is a NOFA-NY certified organic farm. At our all organic on-site farm store, we offer local, grass-fed beef, plump roasting chickens, and pastured brown eggs. Visit our store from 8AM until 8PM daily. Ed and Eileen Scheffler have been farming on Cobb St in Groton for 30 years. They farm 300 acres which provides most of the feed for a 40 cow dairy, replacement heifers, and steers for the grass-fed beef. In an effort to improve the land and move away from the use of chemicals they transitioned to organic farming methods in 2000 and were certified in 2003. The farm has been 100% organically farmed since then.
