About Legacy Acres at Stearns Brook Farm
Legacy Acres at Stearns Brook Farm Legacy Acres is a homestead in motion—a place where the past guides the present, and every step builds toward a bigger vision for the future. Rooted in northern New Hampshire’s heritage and family tradition, we are cultivating a farm that blends sustainability, craftsmanship, and deep care for the land. Today, our free-range chickens lead the way, providing fresh eggs and a lively presence around the farm. But Legacy Acres is growing into something more: a home for fiber-producing animals like Angora rabbits, sheep, and alpacas, whose wool will one day become yarns and blends as unique as the farm itself. In time, miniature Highland cows will graze beside lavender rows, bees will hum through wildflower fields, and every corner of the farm will tell a story of balance, beauty, and renewal. As a husband-and-wife team, we bring together two unique paths—his as a disabled Army veteran and first-generation farmer , and hers as a fifth-generation farmer and Sylvotherapy Practitioner , offering forest therapy workshops, guided forest bathing, and nature-based wellness experiences. Together, we are creating a place where land, animals, and people thrive in harmony. Proudly Homegrown By Heroes certified and both disabled veteran– and woman–owned , Legacy Acres is a living testament to resilience, healing, and new beginnings. Our mission is simple: to revive the past, cultivate the future, and create a legacy rooted in both heritage and hope. From handcrafted goods and fresh farm products to immersive forest therapy, Legacy Acres is more than a farm—it’s a vision unfolding season by season, and we invite you to grow with us.
