The Ely Family is sitting around the kitchen table brainstorming up ideas for their son’s FFA Project. And that is where the idea was born! They would take their beloved family favorite pickled asparagus recipe and produce and sell it in stores in Nebraska. The Ely Family worked with the University of Nebraska Lincoln to develop Ely Farms Pickled Asparagus spears, and in year 2001 they began selling Ely Farms Pickled Asparagus in Grocery, Gift and Liquor stores across Nebraska. Fast forward 15 years, and the Ely Family has now added Pickled Green Beans and Pickled Okra to their product line. Ely Farms Pickled Asparagus, Pickled Green Beans and Pickled Okra have the perfect zesty dill and garlic flavor with a red hot chili pepper and jalapeno kick.
