About Boots to Roots Farm
We are a small family farm who raise Kune Kune and Iberian pigs on pasture and in a woodland setting. Our pork is ethically raised right here in MS and will surely be the most delicious red, marbled farm to table pork you’ve ever tasted! We are proud of our farm and excited to provide our community the opportunity to feed their families with some of the highest quality meat available in the US. What Makes Our Products Great? Because our pork are of slow growing varieties and raised on pasture they are higher in nutrients and have a better fat quality. They have much higher in protein (around 8%) and Vitamin E than store bought pork. They have been shown to have a lower ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 polyunsaturated fats. Their meat is red and beautifully marbled making them profoundly more flavorful than the white pork most are used to. Our meat is sought after by chefs and restaurateurs for just this reason. To top it off our happy pigs are raised in wonderful environments and cared after by our family so you can rest assured they are incredibly well treated as they are raised.
