"I am 52 years old and have been farming since I was 16. Now my farm is a family farm with my wife Karlaand 3 of our chldren active on the farm. We farm 1150 acres. In 2018 we decided to transition to organic and have all of our acres certified to organic. Our farm plants cover crops on all of our acres. We have most of it applied by a airplane in late August so it is up and growing when we harvest. We have reduced our fall tillage and leave our residue on top of the soil to help with wind erosion and also to help feed next years crop. We would like to have the oppurtunity to share our ideas and ways of farming with others and also talk to end users and someday deliver our grain direct to them."
