About Benson Shady Valley Farm
Benson Shady Valley Farm’s cows are on pasture spring and summer and have hay during the winter. They are also given a molasses and mineral pellet at milking time. Cows are currently A1/A2 and A2/A2, with a goal of having only A2/A2 in the future. Farmer’s statement: “We used to be a commercial dairy, but decided to go back to the basics and provide a clean, safe, and delicious product to our community. Our farm has been in our family since 1947, and with the herd share we hope to remain in the community for generations to come.” bensonshadyvalley@gmail.com
