Sunhouse Greens is a sustainable vertical farming company offering fresh locally grown herbs, baby leaf greens, & microgreens to South-West Michigan. Our indoor vertical farm allows us to offer a year-round high-quality herb and green solution exclusively focused on flavor and texture rather than pest or weather resistance. Currently, over 90% of all lettuce/greens are grown in California & Arizona before making a week-long gas hogging trip to the Midwest where they arrive close to expiration. Additionally, there has been a notable increase in E. Coli / Recalls, supply chain issues, crop failure due to climate change, and labor shortages that result in worsening crop quality, added waste, and increased prices. We solve this by growing hydroponically indoors, eliminating the use of pesticides, reducing the risk of disease and reducing water usage by over 90% when compared to conventional farming.
