They offer dairy herdshares with whole, unprocessed milk. They also raise Heritage Berkshire pigs, broiler chickens, New Zealand/Californian cross rabbit and Angus cross beef. Free range Hyline hens complete the farm animals. All their livestock is supplemented with a non-GMO grain when pasture or foraging isn’t available and they are all naturally raised without the use of hormones, steroids or chemicals. They also offer Heritage Berkshire pork shares – call for current pricing and availability. Spring/Summer Broiler chickens are $3.75/lb with an average weight of 6-8 lbs. Meat rabbits are $6/lb dressed. Chicken eggs are $3/dz. No-spray seasonal fruit and vegetables are offered such as peaches at $35/half bushel (2016 pricing), multi varietel grapes at $15/half bushel (2016 pricing), tomatoes, peppers, kale, squash – summer and winter, brussels sprouts, beets, cucumbers, cabbage, etc. All of the fruits and vegetables are naturally grown without the use of any harsh chemicals. Blossom Ridge Farm & Dairy is located just 25 miles north of Grand Rapids; everything is on-farm pick up. As demand for delivery grows, convenient drop-off points will be added.
