About Barcelo Gardens and Market
A community garden in Upper 9th Ward New Orleans and weekly farmer's markets in both New Orleans and Napoleonville. Our goal to provide fresh food accessibility in areas that lack grocery stores. In New Orleans, we have a weekly market every Saturday (except the first Saturday of the month) from 10am to 1pm at our garden space (2301 Gallier St.). We have a weekly market in Napoleonville the 1st Saturday and every Friday after that from 11am to 3pm at 211 Franklin Ave. We meet 1x monthly, the first Sunday in Gentilly at Tip Top Snowballs (3317 Franklin Ave). We are in the process of building a permanent market space in the Desire area of New Orleans. We do produce delivery via our website locally in New Orleans. We ship a few non-perishable items.
