About Sunny Acre Farm LLC
Sunny Acre Farmstand is a family-run, self-serve farmstand located in the heart of the Hungarian Settlement and Mt. Hermon area of Southeast Louisiana. Founded and operated by Emily Miller and her family, the stand was built on three generations of farming roots and a simple belief — that good food should come straight from the hands that grow it. Our shelves change with the seasons, offering a rotating variety of farm-fresh eggs, locally grown produce, and homemade goods like jams, pepper jellies, pickled vegetables, and goat milk soaps. Everything we sell is made or raised with care, right here on the farm, and sold through an honesty-box system — a reminder that trust and community are still alive in small-town Louisiana. Beyond fresh food, Sunny Acre Farmstand is about preserving heritage and fostering connection. From sharing Hungarian-inspired recipes to organizing local cultural events, we take pride in keeping old traditions rooted in today’s world. Whether you’re picking up eggs, learning about local history, or supporting a small family farm, you’re part of something that feeds more than just a table — it feeds a community.
