Rush Rice Products, LLC, is a family-owned business located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana that grows, packages and markets Blanca Isabel Purple Rice in Crowley Louisiana. .Blanca Isabel is a new high yielding, early long-grain rice variety that has the cooking qualities, texture and taste of long grain white rice, and the health benefits of a often only found in black rice. Blanca Isabel has been found to naturally contain Cyanidin-3-O-Glucoside, Peonidin-3-O-Glucoside, Catechins and Resveratrol. This rice was developed by the late Dr. Milton C. Rush, a plant pathologist in the Department of Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology at LSU and is truly a Louisiana Product.
