About Steepleview Farm
We are Marc and Harriet Carey. Welcome to Steepleview Farm, our little piece of heaven. We began homesteading at Steepleview Farm 35 years ago. Together we raised two fine sons, acres of crops, all our own food, herds of cattle, flocks of chickens and a yard full of dogs. Today, as when our family was young, we use all natural processes and nurture high quality fresh produce in season. In addition we have created a line of gourmet shelf stable food products which we sell all year long. We sell from our Farm Market , in our CSA which we call our Farm Partner program, and in various stores throughout the Midwest. In addition to fresh produce and gourmet foods we also offer raw local honey, farm fresh eggs, blackberries, apples, fall gourds and pumpkins. We offer seminars and educational opportunities as well as special events, such as our autumn hayride and a glorious year round experience which includes easy hiking trails, a campground, a fishing lake, chickens and horses and pets for children to enjoy, acres of lawn for a day in the country, playing with your dogs, flying kites or just enjoying nature.
