About Long View Farm
Gunther and Betty Fischer, owners of Long View Farm, produce chemical free vegetables, fruit, and flowers on two acres of garden space, part of a larger diversified farm. Produce, from asparagus to zinnias, includes three varieties of potatoes, five varieties of onions, three varieties of garlic, several varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, hot and sweet peppers and many greens and squashes. Each year Gunther tries new types of exotic vegetables. We are expanding our Italian, Asian, and French varieties. Betty preserves jellies and jams from fruit grown on their farm. Founding members of the Atchison Farmers' Market, Gunther and Betty have been a part of the Atchison market since it began in 1998. Long View Farm will be at the Atchison Farmer's Market on all Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon. They will also be there for some Wednesday markets from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
