About Spring Creek Ranch
The family operation has been around for six generations. In 1996 the family decided to combine operations and Spring Creek Ranch was started. Since then, we have expanded our cattle, feedlot, and farming. We started off with pairs and selling calves as we weaned. We started to build the first feedlot in 1996 and feeding calves to sell as feeders. In 2005 we expanded the feedlot, and again in 2015. In 2021 we made the decision to feed our cattle all the way to slaughter. This has allowed us to start selling beef to the public. Through the years each generation has added to our ranch to make it what is today. Our cattle are home-raised, and annually, we retain a significant number of our heifers to enhance our herd. We also employ AI breeding and purchase bulls from reputable producers to guarantee the quality of our calves each year. During spring and summer, we rotate our cattle through different pastures to maintain grass quality. In winter, they are rotated between cover crop fields and corn stalks. After weaning, the calves are moved to our feedlot and fed with crops we've grown ourselves.
