About Ridge Farm
Ridge Farm in La Porte City, Iowa grows grass-fed, grain-finished beef available to purchase by the ¼, ½ or whole and pay processing at area lockers - or - by the pound: ground beef, steaks, roasts and more. Farm fresh / free range eggs, beef tallow products, fresh cut flowers and more seasonally available. Ridge Farm also runs a mule breeding / starting program. In 2020 we made a big step in living out our dreams and moved the family out to rural Black Hawk County, Iowa. Caring for the land and the livestock, we are learning as we grow. Though we grew up with farming families, building Ridge Farm is a whole new experience we started from scratch. Our goal is to provide goods but also to create community around the experience of small family farming.
