About New Day Dairy
Listed in the Choose Iowa Find Local directory. Welcome to New Day Dairy — Where Every Day Begins with the Cows In the heart of North Central Iowa, Dan & Lynn Bolin, along with their children and Dan’s parents, own and operate New Day Dairy, a fifth-generation family farm where innovation meets tradition. Their days are filled with caring for 120 cows and their calves, growing the crops that feed them, and working alongside Rita the Robot, who milks the cows 24/7 in their next-generation barn built in 2015. Guests from coast to coast come to #SleepWithTheCows in the one-of-a-kind GuestBarn, where two large loft windows offer 24/7 views into the working dairy barn. Enjoy modern comfort with a full kitchen, dining room, and lounge areas, plus three private rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Every stay includes a DIY continental breakfast and both Intro & Farewell Barn Tours to connect you to the cows and the farm. Whether you rent one room and have the shared spaces all to yourself, or gather family and friends to book all three, the GuestBarn sleeps up to 11 guests—perfect for couples, families, and small groups looking for an unforgettable farm stay.
