14 Acre Farm is a family-run farm. We grow our produce using natural growing methods such as crop rotation, permaculture, polycultures, biodynamic farming, natural pest management and avoiding chemical applications. We use natural (wood chips and straw) and plastic mulching where necessary. We also like to grow heirloom varieties, but also try some hybrid varieties from time to time to try some unique varieties that our customers seem to enjoy (all non-GMO). We've sold at Farmer's Markets, off the farm, and recently have begun selling produce boxes by subscription, which seems to be the direction we are heading. We enjoy growing healthy food in a healthy environment that keeps us healthy and our customers healthy, too.
