We are a family-owned and run business serving the Northern Iowa area. We love the outdoors and growing things! All of our produce is grown using organic practices through crop rotation, netting and the use of organically listed chemicals (only if needed). We take great care in having our produce be as natural as possible. We are Mat & Danielle Prather of Forest City, Iowa. We started out just growing for ourselves to be able to support our ever-growing family (six mouths is a lot to feed!). What was meant to just be a hobby and a way to spend time together teaching the kids about hard-work, eating healthy and where our food comes from quickly spiraled out of control!...Mat had a serious planting obsession and the garden just kept getting bigger and bigger. Once we realized we had more than we could use we took it to the next level and started selling to a small group of people in the area and at our local farmers market
