About Goose Hill Farm
We raise heritage breed pork naturally, outside were pigs are the happiest. We allow pigs to do pig things, farrowing outside, wallowing and allowing access to pasture, and feeding pigs a corn/soy free diet, which includes malted barley, wheat, alfalfa, apples, and other fruits and vegetables not fit for human consumption. Much how feeding pigs acorns gives pork a nutty/sweet flavor, we believe that feeding our pigs malted barley (which tastes like nutty/sweet granola) gives our pork a similar flavor. We sell our pork by the whole or half hog and usually have two locker dates per year (in the spring and fall). We also grow Chestnuts for you-pick.
