About Jóia Food Farm
Jóia Food Farm is a diversified certified organic perennial-based farm located in Charles City, Iowa. We use the power of perennials to grow and raise delicious, nutritious and humanely-raised food all while conserving soil, water and other natural resources, cleaning water before it enters the water supply and collecting carbon and storing it in our undisturbed perennial roots and soils. We raise and sell grass-fed/grass-finished lamb and beef, diverse-diet fed pork, chickens, turkeys and eggs and have been selling food direct to consumer since 2014 through buying clubs and our virtual farmstore. We also aggregate products from area producers to provide you with a wider variety of food offerings. We are Animal Welfare Approved certified and 100% grassfed certified by A Greener World to provide you with third-party audited products that guarantee our animals are raised in the most humane way possible. Jóia Food Farm provides wool to Jóia Sleep, our fiber farm business, that creates and sells luxury wool-filled bedding products for the soundest of sleep and a clean conscience. Good food and good sleep are the hallmarks of our food and fiber farm!
