About Gibralter Farms
Gibralter Farms was founded in Hardin County, Iowa in 1899. John and Sarah Gilbert returned to the farm in 2010, the fourth generation to steward the land. In February 2023, we began marketing our beef and pork directly to our local community. Our steers are raised in groups on pasture and additionally fed with home-grown, non-GMO grains. Our pigs farrow on pasture and are finished in deep-bedded hoop buildings, where they can exhibit natural behaviors. It is our mission to produce food you can love, and the health and happiness of our animals is the most important part of what we do. We believe a personal connection to food leads to healthier people and healthier communities. Our meat is available for local pick-up in Iowa Falls, and shipping across the Midwest.
