About Farmgate Market
We are an old dairy farm turned into a fall fun park for all ages! My family has a rich history of farming that dates back to 1872, when they first started farming south of Galva, IL. Over the years, we’ve maintained a continuous farming tradition, including on this particular farm, which has now stood for 105 years. We embarked on a journey to breathe new life into the many old buildings on our farm, including the historic dairy barn. With a vision for the next 100 years, we sought new uses for these cherished structures. My wife and I decided to establish a farmers’ market, specializing in fresh produce and goods from our farm. The old dairy barn became a perfect venue to showcase both our farm’s rich history and the products we proudly offer. Corn Maze / U-Pick Pumpkins Patch / Barnyard Zoo / Farm Store Weekdays: 9:00am to 6:00pm Fun Park is open Sat & Sun, 11-5.
