About Tomato Lady Oak Park
Tomato Lady Oak Park grows heirloom and unusual varietals of tomatoes and other vegetables and sells from her home in SE Oak Park. A love of unusual and exceptionally delicious tomatoes drove her passion to find seeds for the types of tomatoes that aren't available everywhere, and start growing them from seed. One thing led to the next, and after selling her excess seedlings to area gardeners and tomato fans, she became “The Tomato Lady” when folks would refer to where they found amazing tomato plants in the area. Nearly 500 different varieties of tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, melons, herbs, peppers, eggplant, and any other things that strike her fancy are lovingly grown each spring, following organic practices. Plants can be preordered in early spring, with additional plants available closer to planting season.
