About The Blooming Mama Urban Farm
We are a 2 part produce growing business. Our main growing division is located in Watseka, IL but our main selling gardens are out of Lexington. Although we are not certified USDA organic, we go above and beyond the standards to grow organically. We feed the soil, companion plant, rotate crops, and try to be as sustainable as we can. We grow very few non-heirloom varieties, and the ones we do are still completely 100% Non-Gmo. We also support small seed distributors that have no seeds from Seminis or Monsanto. Our goal is yes, to make a profit, but we also want to teach others how to garden and live a more sustainable life. We also try and incorporate the importance of God's creation in everything we do and say. Every vegetable, flower, and fruit grown has beauty, and we want to show everyone how to see it.
