About Farm Direct Black Angus
We provide Hormone-Free Black Angus Beef. We want to provide our customers with beef that we can trace from start to finish. The calves are born on our farm and then put into our feeding program and then on to the processor. We grow all our own crops for feed silage and corn. We do not use any feed additives. It takes us a longer time to have the beef ready, but we think it makes for a more naturally tender product in the end. We use a small processor who is federally inspected. When our cattle go to them they are the only 6 head of cattle in the plant. This makes for great quality control. They work closely with us on the custom cutting to insure our customers get their beef the way they want it. We use a cellophane wrap followed by white butcher paper. Each cut is labeled and has the weight on it. We sell primarily 1/4 and 1/2 beefs for home delivery, but sell indiviudal cuts at the Farmers Markets. Our price includes the custom cutting and delivery to their home. We like to stress to our customers that what sets us apart is that we are not a steak company, buying wholesale and then reselling to the customer. We are like your own personal farmer, growing your beef for you. We know where your beef started and where it will end up. 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
