The Hoagland family has been a cornerstone of the cattle industry for over 70 years and across four generations, dedicated to producing high-quality, responsibly raised Angus beef. For years, the family envisioned a future where they could support their local community by processing their own beef, as well as that of other local ranchers, and providing the finished product directly to their neighbors in the Treasure Valley.
In the spring of 2022, that vision became a reality with the acquisition, upgrade, and rebranding of Owyhee Meat Co. The result is Hoagland Meat—a premier source for fresh, local beef in the Treasure Valley.
Today, the Hoagland family not only raises top-quality beef but also collaborates with other responsible Idaho ranchers to deliver fresh, nutritious, and locally sourced meat. Their products are grass-fed, grain-finished, free of antibiotics and artificial growth hormones, and USDA-approved.
