About Lazy JM Ranch

The Lazy JM Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch in the scenic Panhandle of North Idaho. The ranch was established in 1972 by John’s grandparents, Charles and Amelia and his parents, Jack and Lenora Mobbs. John and Betty Mobbs are the third generation of ranchers at the Lazy JM. They are stewards of the soil, animals, pollinators and their customers.

Four generations reside on the ranch and are committed to regenerative agriculture practices. Regenerative agriculture is a holistic approach to farming and ranching that focuses on improving the health of the soil, food, people and our planet earth. Their practices include rotational grazing, calving in June, freeze branding, and beekeeping while avoiding antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, and grains. Healthy Soil, Healthy Food, Healthy People, Healthy Planet.

The Lazy JM Ranch produces grass fed and grass finished beef, raw clover honey, and rose soap.

Everyday is Earth Day at the Lazy JM.
