About Huston Vineyards
Huston Vineyards is an estate vineyard and boutique winery established in 2006. We are located on Chicken Dinner Road in Southern Idaho’s Snake River Valley AVA along the Sunnyslope Wine Trail.
Huston Vineyards is a family-owned and operated by Gregg & Mary Alger and their sons Jacob and Joshua. As farmers first, their wines begin in the vineyards, whether one of their estate vineyards or a specially-selected vineyard, which might bring a unique terroir component to wines. Each site is carefully farmed and personally managed to ensure the premium quality of handcrafted, small lot varietal wines.
Both their Huston line-up of wines and their Chicken Dinner label have consistently won international accolades at competitions and publications such as the Sunset International Wine Competition, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and Wine Enthusiast.
