About Back Forty Farms
Ron and Lisa have had the blessing of being successful business owners, entrepreneurs, and helping others through their non-profit organizations for decades in the Treasure Valley. They have been married 31 years and have two amazing children. After selling their companies and “retiring” in 2013, they sold their dream home and started Back Forty Farms in 2018.
In addition to its natural splendor, Back Forty Farms holds a special distinction as Idaho Preferred’s first Homegrown By Heroes farmer veteran member.
Located on a 42-acre piece of heaven, Back Forty Farms is home to a lot of history.
The property used to be a 100-acre dairy farm in the early 1900’s. Their trademark red barn is 106 years old and the farmhouse was built in 1915. Visitors will enjoy Indian Creek during the visit as it flows through the property.
