About Harris Homestead of Fl and Serenity Acres Farm
Harris Homestead of Florida is located on the Florida-Georgia line in Greenville, Florida and was founded in 2014 in Sumterville, Florida with the idea of raising egg and meat chickens for sale. We experimented with various livestock including pigs and cattle, but ended up become a dairy goat farm after acquiring two goats that happened to be pregnant. Nestled on 10 acres in a pine forest, we raise AWA approved dairy goats and chickens. We sell raw goat's milk under Florida Master Feed license Z006034. Our chickens are open range and the eggs can be purchased from our roadside stand on a 24/7 basis. We also offer honey, jams and jellies during the season, plus fresh produce from our hydroponic tower system. In 2024, looking to increase our dairy goat herd, we visited Serenity Acres Farm in Pinetta, Florida as they were going out of business. We not only bought the herd, but their goat milk soap business as well. Harris Homestead has been making and selling quality goat's milk soap since 2014, but by purchasing Serenity Acres we greatly increased our soap making capabilities. The skin care products line are both marketed under Serenity Acres Farm, while the livestock and produce are under Harris Homestead. We offer farm tours to groups and individuals by appointment and can be booked by calling 877-601-7373 or be email at harrishomestead@gmail.com or info@serenitygoats.com.
