About Keney Park Sustainability Project
KPSP envisions a future where the next generation of citizens is healthy, productive, and deeply conscious of their environmental responsibilities. The organization's mission is to offer hands-on training, engaging on-site demonstrations, thoughtful educational outreach, and collaborative community partnerships. These efforts aim to empower families to become more self-sustainable, environmentally aware, and to help preserve the historic essence of Keney Park. Currently, KPSP manages two vital sites: the Keney Park Urban Agriculture Education Site, which serves as the primary location for educational and outreach programs, and the Keney Park Wood Materials Management Site, designated for lumber milling, storage, and as a resource hub for growing materials needed for gardens in schools, communities, and homes.
