About White Crow Ranch SLV
White Crow Ranch SLV (San Luis Valley) broke ground in August of 2015. We are a no till bio-dynamic market garden at 8500 feet in the Sangre Di Cristo Mountains just North East of the Oldest town in Colorado, San Luis. We operate our garden on less than one acre, but maintain a conservative preservation of 35 of our 40 acres maintaining the natural wildlife corridors for bear, elk, and deer. We provide our local community with fresh seasonal produce and eggs. In the spring we offer vegetable and flower starts. Everything produced at WCR is under STRICT organic standards. All organic, NON GMO verified seeds. Most of our produce is grown from our own heritage seeds we've collected over the years from our own plants. The rest come from verified and indigenous sources. ( Our Bison and Black prince tomatoes come from seeds originally grown on the Taos pueblo) Our Osha is grown in traditional forest farming. We strive to maintain the standards mother nature created. Working with her, not against her!
