About Crazy River Ranch & Cider co.
Our ranch and orchards are nestled just outside of Blue Lake in the lush Baduwa’t River Valley. The land is a perfect balance of open pastures where our livestock forage, dense riparian habitat for wildlife, and fruit and nut orchards. Using regenerative practices, we are dedicated to growing heritage and traditional cider apple varieties. Our truly dry hard cider and vinegars are crafted entirely with apples we grow at Crazy River in small batches that are driven by the seasons. Our fresh eating apples are available late August through January. We also offer grass fed beef that is always grass finished and only available at the Arcata Farmer’s markets. In addition to the steaks, roasts, and ground beef most of us are use to, we also offer many parts of the animal you may not yet be familiar with including heart, tongue, cheek, kidney, liver, suet, and shanks.
