About Petal Party
I have always loved flowers. My grandmothers always had the most beautiful flowers in their yards that I loved as a child. I began growing my own flowers 4 years ago as a way to decompress from a busy day with small children and a full time job. I began selling backyard flowers at my local farmers market 3 years ago. I had no clue what I was doing. Since then, I have learned, experimented, expanded garden space and grown more flowers each year. Each year gets better as I learn what works and what doesn’t for me. My customer base is no longer just my local Farmers Market. Locals in my area call me often for a quick arrangement for mom’s birthday or a dance recital bouquet. I love being able to provide my community with beautiful home grown flowers. Who doesn’t love pretty flowers?? This year I have a space full of cool season hardy annuals such as snap dragons, statice, Ammi, Bells of Ireland, poppies, Buplerum, stock, and many others. Next year I plan to have even more in a hoop house, such as anemone and ranunculus. I am by no means a professional. I’m a working mom of two who loves growing flowers and making people smile.
